Conference on Biomass and Biogas in Serbia – held in Belgrade

The German Business Delegation in Serbia partnered with the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of FR Germany in cooperation with Ecleron organized a Conference on biomass and biogas on April 5th in Serbia.

The conference offered a broad thematic review of the potential of bioenergy in Serbia with an overview of the energy, economic and political situation in Serbia, as well as specific investment opportunities of German companies with practical advice on entering the market. Also representatives of companies from Germany, presented their technologies and experience in the development of the bioenergy sector. The president of the National Biomass Association SERBIO, Vojislav Milijić was one of the speakers, and in addition to presenting the investment opportunities in the use of biomass in Serbia, g. Milijić also briefly presented the current BIORES project ( ).
