Biomass in public facilities and district heating systems

On April 28th, in cooperation with the company "Energy Net" from Kac, the National Biomass Association SERBIO held a working conference on the subject "Biomass in public facilities and district heating systems."

The workshop took place in Belgrade, in the premises of Energy Net, which is the regional leader in the field of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, installation and sanitary equipment.

In the focus of the working conference were the following topics:

Review of the situation in the sector of renewable energy and biomass: new perspectives for the use of biomass and improvement of the environment
Practical examples of public institutions about the benefits of using biomass as a fuel
Economic Environment: investment, legal frameworks and support of financial institutions
Consideration of the advantages of using biomass as a fuel through experience and practice of end users

The Deputy President of the association, Vojislav Milijić, presented the BIORES project, which is being implemented within the framework of the European program "Horizon 2020".
